Mr. Adams was born in Van Zandt County, Texas on March 4th, 1939 and died on March 4th at 5:15 am in a Palestine Hospital. He was employed by the Dan Pennington Construction Company, Grapeland, as a heavy equipment operator. Resident of Grapeland for the past 10 years, he was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include the wife, Sarah (Grant) Adams, Grapeland, a son, Johnny Clinton Adams; two daughters, Misses Melinda Ann and Tammy Suzanne Adams, all of Grapeland; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Neeley Mayfield Adams of Grand Saline; grandmother Mrs. Addie Armstrong of Grand Saline; a brother, William Neal Adams of Grand Saline; three sisters: Mrs. Joyce Willingham of Mineola, Mrs. Wanda Copeland and Miss Kathy Adams, both of Grand Saline.
