Elizabeth L. (Sprigg) Ringgold was born Jan 1804 in Washington Co., MD.

She married Judge John Cadwalder Ringgold s/o Congressman General Samuel Ringgold I & Maria Cadwalder 24 Jul 1821 in Randolph Co., IL.

She died 1855 in AR. She was buried in the Pioneer Cemetery in Batesville, Independence Co., SR. Her grave was built over top of before the city of Batesville realized it. So the stone that is in the cemetery today is a memorial to her and her husband who were buried there but their graves were built over top of.
