Funeral services for Ferry G. Roberts, 52, former resident of Pulaski wbo died Sunday at Hamburg, PA, were held from the Stevens funeral home this afternoon by the Rev. Charles W. Sydnor assisted by the Rev. D. Trig James. Burial was to follow in Oakwood cemetery with the Elks lodge in charge. Mr. Roberts, who left here about 10 years ago for Philadelphia, is survived by his widow and two children, of Philadelphia; his mother, Mrs. L.R. Roberts, of Pulaski: a brother, J.L. Roberts, of Christiansburg, and two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Miller, of Pulaski and Mrs. J.I. Crowder, of Clonison College, SC. Active pallbearers were K.D. Calfee, Dr. W.W. Tyler, Dr. K.J. Waugh, Franck Taylor, J.K. Wysor, W.C. Rhudy, F.C. Robinson and W.C. McKee. Elks served as honorary pallbearers.
