MASSILLON - Services for Ralph E. Harbold, 63, of 62 Erie st. S, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Paquelet funeral home here.
Mr. Harbold was dead on arrival at 2:59 p.m. Thursday at Massillon City Hospital. Stark County Coroner G. S. Shaheen ruled he died from loss of blood suffered from two one-inch lacerations of the right side of the head.
His widow, Mrs. Dorothy R. Harbold, 51, has been charged with first degree murder in the death. Hearing has been set for 10 a.m. Monday, Nov 21.
She was remanded to the Stark County Jail pending the hearing.
Born in Newcomerstown, Mr. Harbold came to Massillon in 1918. A truck driver for Eaton Yale & Towne Inc., he was on sick leave at the time of his death.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by one brother Robert Harbold of Tampa, Fla., and sister, Mrs. Cecelia Guzman of Canal Fulton.
Interment will be in Brookfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
