SPENCER -- Diane L. (Cauvin) Morrison, 58, of 23 Lyford Road, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center, Worcester, after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 38 years, Arthur J. Morrison; a son, Craig B. Morrison of Spencer; four daughters, Lynn A. Berthiaume of Athol, Tara M. Flannery of Spencer, Kim M. Weiss of Irvine, Calif., and Lisa J. McGahey of Holden; a brother, Richard Cauvin of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; seven grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A brother, Wayne Cauvin, died in 1997. She was born in Holden, daughter of Joseph C. and Alice (Berube) Cauvin, and lived in Barre before moving to North Brookfield and later to Spencer. She was a graduate of Barre High School.
Mrs. Morrison was a caretaker at Mentor Respite in Worcester for two years until leaving because of illness. She previously was a secretary for Lawrence E. McCoy Corp. in Worcester. She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Church, and crafts and gardening.
Funeral services are private. There are no calling hours. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions may be made to Spencer Visiting Nurses Association, 40 Wall St., Spencer, MA 01562. Pillsbury Funeral Home, 163 Main St., is directing arrangements.
