Grier, June J., 89, died May 9, 2009, at Riverside Village, Wichita, Kan. She was born May 18, 1919, in Detroit, Mich., to Emma (Jewell) and Roy Allonas. She married Virgil Duane Grier on Sept. 27, 1943; he preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 2006. Her daughter, Barbara Jo Grier also preceded her in death. She retired from Associated Company after 23 years of service. Survivors: daughter, Linda Pulliam and husband, Richard of Bullock, N.C.; son, Donald Grier and wife, Kathy Gard of Las Vegas, Nev.; granddaughter, Teresita Grier of Charlottesville, Va.; sister-in-law, Barbara Grier; brother-in-law, Raymond Grier and wife, Barbara all of Wichita; nieces, Pat Beyer, Sherri Darling, Cynthia Callaway; nephews, Roger Grier, Kendall Grier. Graveside service 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009, in Old Mission Cemetery, Garden of Devotion. Pastor Rob Winslow will officiate.
