JULE T. GORDON
Jule T. Gordon, 85, of Rt. 3 Waxhaw died on June 14. Born on March 1, 1894, in Union County, he was the son of the late Mr. John L. Gordon & Sarah Williams Gordon. His wife, the former Osie Lee Snead, died on April 17, 1970.
Services for Mr. Gordon will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday in McEwen's Chapel, Monroe, conducted by the Rev. Billy Miller and the Rev. O. L. Yeargin. Burial will be in Weddington United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Benton of Pineville, Mrs. Pauline Deese of Monroe, Mrs. Mary Spears of Hornbeck, LA., Mrs. Gladys Crawley of Charlotte, Mrs. Daisy Trammell of Columbia, S.C., Mrs. Rebecca Rherig of Hawai; five sons, J.T. Gordon, Olin Gordon, both of Monroe, Howard Gordon of Weddington, John C. Gordon of Charlotte, Richard Gordon of Kilen, Ala.; and 54 grandchildren.
Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 9 at the McEwen Funeral Home in Monroe.
