Hazel Elizabeth Julian Seamon, 90, of Trailer Drive, died Friday, May 8, 2009, at her home after a sudden illness.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lexington City Cemetery by the Rev. Tim Miller.

Mrs. Seamon was born Jan. 1, 1919, in Davie County to Ed Julian and Lucy Julian. A homemaker, she was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Melton Seamon, and a daughter, Frances Taylor.

Surviving are sons, Lonnie Seamon and wife, Lavonda, Clayton Seamon and wife, Kay, George Seamon and Nancy Mills, all of Southmont, Donnie Seamon and Michelle Hicks of Lexington; 14 grandchildren, Karen Overcash, Shanon Coble, James Seamon, Renee Garner, Buck Seamon, Marlene Patty, Susie Myers, Carolyn Seamon, Roxanne Powell, Amy Mable, Junior Seamon, Peggy Adam, Dale Taylor, Cory Hicks; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a boyfriend, Ralph Lingafelt, of the home.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at George Seamon's home, 214 Fern Creek Drive, Lexington.
