THOMAS T. BABBITT
Malad, Idaho - Thomas Tyler Babbitt, 81, 425 N. 400 West, died Monday at his residence of undetermined but apparently natural causes. Born Dec. 4, 1875, Heber City, Utah, to Richard and Fidelia Chapman Babbitt. Reared and educated in Brigham City, Utah, and Raft River, Idaho. Married Alice Anne Leavitt in March 1905, in Albion, Idaho. She died 1921. Married Blanche Evelyn Landon in November, 1922, in Logan LDS Temple. She died 1952. High Priest Malad First, LDS Ward.
Survivors: four sons, four daughters: Harold, Loyale, Mrs. George Laverne Archibald, Mrs. Ray (Florence) Archibald, all of Idaho Falls; Mrs. Glenn (Thelma) Stewart, Fontana, Calif.; Richard, Blackfoot, Idaho; Thomas Jr., Great Falls, Mont., and Mrs. William (Betty) Johnson, Coppella, Tex.; a stepson, three step-daughters; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister.
Funeral Friday, 1 p.m., Malad First LDS Ward chapel. Friends call Benson Funeral Home Thursday evening, and Friday after 10 a.m. at family residence. Burial Malad City Cemetery.
