**Clinton Herald, Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1945**
Mrs. Herbert R. Kelly died Monday at 3 p.m. in her home at 441 Second Avenue, South.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Bragonier-Fay chapel. Dr. Lloyd A. Gustafson, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Elvira Cemetery.
Miss Nettie Tate was born March 8, 1871, in Low Moor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Tate. She was married in December, 1893, in Low Moor. She and her husband farmed near Elvira, then moved to Las Cruces, N.M., where they lived 20 years. They returned to Clinton 15 years ago. She was a member of the Low Moor Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Klein, Albuquerque, N.M. and one sister, Mrs. Fide Langon, Los Angeles, Calif. Her parents, three sisters, two sons and one daughter preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Mrs. Herbert Kelly were held Thursday morning in the Bragonier-Fay funeral chapel. The Rev. Lloyd A. Gustafson of the Methodist Church officiated. Mrs. F. F. Buren was soloist and Mrs. Walter Bockel, organist.
Pallbearers were C. K. Reed, M. G. Reed, J. G. Reed, Robert Smith, Glen Pierce and Bruce Kelly.
Burial was in the Elvira Cemetery.
