The former Hulda Fromm, she was born March 2, 1890 in Ramba, Germany, a daughter of the late Henry and Matilda (--rr) Fromm.At the age of four she came to the United States with her parents and settled at Rosendale near Fond du Lac. The family later moved to Kiel.
On June 1_, 1913, she was married to (Mr.?) Rades of the Town of Meeme.After marriage the couple operated a farm in the Town of Meeme until moving to Ada ? years ago.
The couple observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1963.Mrs. Rades was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ in the Town of Herman.
Survivors are her husband; a son, Harry, Ada; three daughters, Mrs. Edgar Barts of Kiel, Mrs. Charles Schnell and Mrs. Clarence Rabe, both of Collins; ten grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Farrow and Mrs. Margaret Feldmann, both of Elkhart Lake; two brothers, Henry of Kiel and Arthur of Milwaukee.
