Dorothy R. Achatz, age 101, of St. Clair, died May 15, 2014. She was born December 11, 1912 in St. Clair. Dorothy was known as the "Pie Lady", making delicious pies for many local restaurants and family and friends. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella.

She is survived by her children; Richard, Sharon, and Mark, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Achatz, daughter, Rita, grandchildren, Padraig Calnan, Kimberly Sargent and Kevin Achatz and her parents, Alice and Robert Westrick.

Funeral services will be held Monday May 19th starting at 10:15 a.m. at Young Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church.
