St. Clair Woman, Long-Ill, Dies In Her Home
St. Clair, Dec. 15 - Mrs. Hulda Rose, 65, wife of Abraham J. Rose, interior decorator, 1323 Clinton avenue, died Saturday in her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Rose was born in Port Huron, May 17, 1886. She lived in St. Clair the last 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, two sons, Harold M. Rose, Marine City, and John A. Rose, St. Clair; five daughters, Mrs. Theodore N. Hopps, Port Huron, Mrs. Ralph H. Kenyon and Mrs. Edward J. Ahles, both of St. Clair. Mrs. Loren Gaedcke, Richmond, and Mrs. Joseph Frydell, Anchorville; a sister, Mrs. R. J. B. Bayne, Sarnia, and five brothers, Norbert J., Werner M., Carl M., and Walter H. M. Ullenbruch, all of Port Huron, and William Ullenbruch, Lansing.
Mrs. Rose was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in L. C. Friederichs & Son funeral home, and at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic church. Rev. Edward J. Kromenaker, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Rosary devotions for women of the parish and the Rosary society will be at 8 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Bernard LaBelle, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic church, will lead Rosary devotions for men o the parish at 9 p.m. Monday. Rosary will be recited in the funeral home.
