George Washington Qualls was the son of William Qualls B 1815 and Laura Long 1827 both from Tennessee They came to Arkansas in around 1871 which lived in Gainsboro, Independence Co. Arkansas were they name Qualls Mountain after there family on 12 Jul 1883 he married Alabama Margaret Fugatt B Jan 1864 Illinois died 17 Jun 1916 in Independence Co. Arkansas Which they had 5 Children Bertha Gerrude Qualls "Caldwell" 1885-1965 and Russall Clayton Qualls 1887-1956 Mae Louise Qualls "Ballard" 1889-1974 Walter E Qualls B 22 Nov 1893 died 14 Dec 1934 "Buried right beside him in this Cemetery..and Edna Qualls B 1905- 1987
