She and Lewis Crane were married in 1876 at Stone Bluff, Indiana before moving to Kansas were the spent their whole married life, most of which was in and around the Bartlett area.
Being the Mother of 16, she was survived by Willard of Oswego; Lee E. of Independence; Harry J., Dearing; J.C. of Pittsburg; L.D. of Bartlett; Mrs. Ada McNeal of Bartlett; and Mrs. H.B.Hahn. Also surviving were 37 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, six of their children, and her parents John and Elizabeth (Clark) Romine.
