Douglas F. Hodge, 65, of Cabin Creek went to be with the Lord May 13, 2009 after a short illness.

He was a former employee of Peabody Coal Company, and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, Giles.

Preceded in death by: Parents, Charles and Lula Hodge; Brothers, "Melvin", David, and Junior Lee Hodge; Sister, Caroline Adkins.

Survived by: ex-wife, Linda Kay Hodge of Ripley; Children, Charles D. Hodge and his wife, Robin L., of Ripley, Belinda Kay Adkins of Seth, and Laura L. Barker of Rock Hill, SC; Sisters, Janice Williams of Dawes, Reca Holstein, Kathy Hodge, and Marilyn Hodge all of Dunbar, and Tammy Hodge of Harts; Brothers, Tracy of Sissonville, Randy, and Elvin both of Charleston, and Jerry of Beckley; numerous nieces and nephews; 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandsons.

The Funeral Service will be 11am Friday, May 15 at Pryor Funeral Home, East Bank with Pastor Bonita Jedlicka and Janice Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.

A gathering of family and friends will be 7-9pm Thursday at the Funeral Home.
