Norm grew up on the south side of Chicago and spent his entire life there. He graduated from Gage Park HS.
Being a Police Officer and collecting antiques were the two great loves of Norm's life. Norm would travel around the United States collecting antiques. He took his mother with him to a lot of swap meets and fairs. She really enjoyed getting out of the city and seeing some of the country.
One of Norm's favorite places was a nickelodeon tavern in Chicago Heights, IL. He would have loved to open a place like that himself.
