Delbert LeRoy Frager, son of William Walter Frager and Lucy Ann (Seery) Frager, was born at Valley Center, Iowa, May 12, 1884 and died at Hutchinson, Kansas, July 5, 1956 at the age of 72 years, 1 month and 23 days.
He came to Kansas with his parents in 1885 where they settled on a farm five and one-half miles south west of Corning, Kansas, which was his home until his marriage to Miss Minnie Lou Crume of Soldier, Kansas, December 13, 1905 in Holton, Kansas.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Minnie Frager of the home, three sons: Deo M. and Glen E. of Hutchinson: two sisters, Mrs. Orpha Freel of Topeka, Kansas and Mrs. Edna Steele of Corning, Kansas, 7 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. One daughter Velma, age 7 died at Blackwell, Oklahoma in 1918.
They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary December 11, 1955.
He was a faithful member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services were conducted at the Elliott and Gaid Chapel in Hutchinson, Kansas, July 7, 1956 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. R.L. George, a retired Methodist minister and a very close friend of the deceased.
Burial at Hutchinson was in Fairlawn Cemetery.
