PULASKI – Donald Edward Fitzgerald, age 67 of 5789 Tabernacle Place, Pulaski passed away Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004 at the Wytheville Community Hospital.
Born April 30, 1937 in Pulaski he was the son of the late Thomas Elliott and Bernice Elizabeth Thomas Fitzgerald. Two brothers, Willie Hensel and Hayward Fitzgerald, also preceded him in death.
Surviving are: special companion, Nellie Gardner Sheppard, Pulaski; daughters, Tammy Hines, Williamsburg, Va., Karen Aycock, Newport News, Va.; sons, Tony Fitzgerald, Matthews, Va., Donald E. Fitzgerald, Jr., Newport News, Va.; brother, Ted Fitzgerald; sisters, Dorothy Williams, Pulaski, Brenda Lucille Campbell, Ark.
Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Dale Akers officiating. The family will have a private burial at the Thornspring United Methodist Church Cemetery. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling the arrangements.
