Intense suffering of six months ended Monday afternoon in the death of Albert Quinton Kirklin, two and a half year old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Kirklin, who lived three miles south of Texico.
The little fellow developed a cancer some six months ago, and his condition had grown steadily worse all the time, although expert medical advice had been sought.
Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W. T. North, assisted by Rev. Clyde Barton of Clovis and the remains were laid to rest in the Texico cemetery.
Besides his parents, he is survived by three sisters and one brother, Annice, 7; Alice 5; Mary Ruth, and Lonnie 4. He is also survived by several half brothers and sisters.
