Mintha Flora Duncan, 78, of Christiansburg, died Monday, April 24, 1995 at Meadowbrook Nursing Home. She was a member of Bains Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Duncan; one son, Marvin Lee Duncan; and two infant children. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Mary Laxton, Mrs. Dorothy Semones, and Mrs. Frances Wade, all of Christiansburg, Mrs. Susie Lytton and Mrs. Martha "Bookie" Lytton, both of Radford and Mrs. Nancy *Jenny" Stump of Riner; one brother, Early Gallimore of Blacksburg; one sister, Mrs. Alberta Akers of Radford; 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bains Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Radford, with the Rev. Phillip Martin and Dwight Sechrist officiating. Burial will be in the Pentecostal Conference Cemetery, Dublin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Bains Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church Building Fund. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p,m. at Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home, Radford. Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home, Radford, is in charge of arrangements.
