Kenneth Fathers, 69, a 42-year resident of Madison Heights, Michigan, died June 30, 1995, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak of lung cancer. He was born May 16, 1926, in Highland Park.
Mr. Fathers served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and worked as a postal worker for the U.S. Post Office of Royal Oak for 23 years until his retirement in 1991.

his wife, Phyllis (Reed), whom he married Nov. 26, 1947, in Clawson;
children, Gail (James) Freker of Bakersfield, Calif., Cynthia Bacon of Hazel Park, and Robert of Madison Heights;
mother; Leona Allard Fathers of Hazel Park;
brother, Wayne S. (Carole) of Royal Oak;
sister, Vivian (Pecky) Lewis of Bloomfield Hills; and
