Lura May Burnell, wife of Roy Burnell, died at the residence, 561 West Green street at 9:30 Wednesday morning after a long illness. She was twenty-seven years of age. She was born in Richland county on July 30, 1891. Her marriage took place on March 29, 1908. She was a member of the First Christian church. Beside her husband, she is survived by one son, Milo Rue, aged eight years, her father and mother, Mr. & Mrs. Luther Taylor, two brothers, Virgil, who is in the U.S. service stationed at Indianapolis, and Arthur, and one sister, Esther. The body was removed to the Brintlinger undertaking establishment and will be taken to Dundas at 8:30 Wednesday evening. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the Methodist church in Dundas. Burial will be in Dundas cemetery.
