Salome (Leffler) Anspach was the mother of Sarah Elizabeth (Anspach) Teitsort. Salome married Jacob on January 31, 1837. She was widowed at least twice. Her name when she died was Chandler.
Salome and Jacob had four children: Joseph, Solomon, Mary, and Sarah. Joseph died from an accidental shooting.
Her will stipulated that she wanted a "monument erected on her grave". Her tombstone says, "Salome, wife of Jacob Anspach".
