The reverend Dexter McMahon of Calvary Gospel tabernacle will officiate, and internment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Holmes was a native of Poteau, Oklahoma, and Had lived in Bakersfield for 18 years. Survivors include his parents Mr. & Mrs. Mardy Holmes of Bakersfield, brothers, Floyd Holmes of Oklahoma, Harold Holmes, Herman Holmes and Alvey Holmes all of Bakersfield, sisters, Ruby Stuckey, Bettyy Brown, Flora Brown, Opal Cannon, all of Bakersfield.
