Paul, age 83, was born to Eternal Life and resides in his heavenly home. He was born the son of Francis A. & Elsa (nee Klug) Buckreus. Paul served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He taught Sunday School at Redeemer Lutheran Church for over 30 years. Paul retired from Chrysler Corporation after 30 years of service. He enjoyed reading the classics and listening to classical music. Paul was a very devout Christian. His family was very important to him. Paul enjoyed being around people and was a kind, gentle, generous person who loved his family. He will be remembered as being a very personable man. He is preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Lechner; and her husband, John. He is survived by other relatives and friends. A memorial service was held at Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jessica Short officiating. Interment was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Memorials to Redeemer Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
