Memorial information as FGraver Sherry Reynolds posted it before her own passing:

Victoria was born in Niagra Falls, Wisconsin in 1901 to Edward/Isydor and Rosalia/Rose/Pola on Saint Victoria's Day. Her father was born in 1865 Austria/Poland and mother in 1867 in Germany. They met in Iron Mountain, Michigan when Victoria's mother was doing domestic work there. Her mother died in November 1909 of cancer when she was growing up (about 9) and her father died in 1939 when she had been married to Andrew. Victoria's mother's maiden name was pronounced kra-cek (Kratzick).

At 16 years of age, Victoria married Andrew Bilski in 1918 before Andrew went in service. Both came from Polish and Catholic backgrounds. I recall them speaking Polish outside so the neighbors wouldn't know what they were discussing. Sadly, I didn't either. My mother (Bernice) told me Victoria's side had included Hungarian nationality as well as Polish.

Victoria had four living children: Bernice Marie Reynolds, John Andrew Bilski, Walter Bilski and Joan Kay Bilski.

Victoria and Andrew 1st had a blonde daughter named Frances that only lived a week after she was born in 1919 and her oldest child was named after her sister who didn't have an opportunity to live. Frances is buried in the same plot but the cemetery made the decision to cut down the tree after she was buried. The 1967 cemetery workers could not find Frances' coffin when digging Andrew's grave. Her older sister, who was named same, is buried with her parents at Quinnesec/Breiting MI cemetery but has no marker of her own. Many of our ancestors did not rely on spelling of 1st names for girls or boys as we do now.

Victoria's siblings were Mike/Nick (sometimes called "Buck"), Mary (married Walter Malinowski and moved to Minnesota), Stanley, Joseph, John and Walter. Victoria's brothers drifted and never married as far as anyone knows for sure. Her oldest sister Frances had died shortly after birth and buried in the Quinnesec cemetery with her parents (Edward/Rosa) with no markers.

I would suspect Victoria's maiden name was spelled Kalishak (as shown on my mom's birth certificate) or Kelisak (shown for her parents in Breitung cemetery records as they purchased the lots.) There are 100+ spellings of name with each vowel used or Kl/C. Polish language does not use vowels and there are different sounds for most constenants. Plus the surname was spelled (changed spellings) on their whereabouts, occupation and status quo.

Victoria was a resident of Florence, WI briefly before she passed away from her lost battle with cancer. Most of her life, she resided in Norway, MI - 304 C Street. She moved in later years to nearby Florence, Wisconsin senior housing apartment.

I recall visiting her Florence WI senior apartment of which my mother had stayed with her during her last illness for a while; my dad would pick me up after work on Fridays and we would drive from Milwaukee to Florence and back late Sundays.

Victoria cared for me after I was born to guide my mother through what needed to be done when having a baby.

Victoria and Andrew's burial plot is 1st Addition, Block 14, Lot 5 in Noway Township (MI) cemetery. She and her husband Andrew are in 1st plot which is across from cemetery building.
