Norma Kay Griffin, 66, of Topeka, passed away Friday, May 15, 2009 at Plaza West Health Center. Norma was born November 24, 1942 in Topeka the daughter of Abram and Elva Daniels Williams.
She married Gary Max Grandstaff. They later divorced. She married Delbert L. Griffin Sr. on August 22, 1960 in Falls City, NE. He preceded her in death February 2, 1990.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Dean Grandstaff of New York and James L. Griffin (Christine) of Topeka; two daughters, Dianna OBrian (Jerry) and Debra Larson (Daniel), both of Topeka; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Norma spent most of her life being a wife, mother and homemaker. She worked for Topeka Healthcare Center for several years. She was known for thinking of others before thinking of herself.
Graveside memorial services will be Friday, May 22, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Garden Chapel at the Topeka Cemetery. Davidson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
