Mrs. Cora Achenbach, of 1208 Harrison St. died MOnday evening at her home at age of 89.
Mrs. Achenbach had been ill for the past three weeks.
she was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Daughters of
America and the Golden rule Society. She had lived with her sister, Mrs. W.H. Clark, since the death of here husband John Achenbach eight years ago.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Evans Godby and Trout Tunderal Home where friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. George Anderson will be in charge of the service. Burial will be in Stony Creek Cemetery.
Several neices and nephews survive in addition toher sister.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Achenback who died Monday evening were held Thursday morning in the Evans, Godby, and Trouth Funeral Home in charge of Rev. George Anderson.
Organists were Katherine Reed, and member os the Daughters of America presetned a ritualistic service.
Carrying flowers were Mrs. Mildred Ballard, mrs. Ida Brocks, mrs. Evertt Greeenson, Mrs. Jesse Tristipo, Mrs. Devie Smiley, Mrs. Jennie Stringfellow, mrs. Minnie Allen, Mrs. Maude Gipe, Mrs. Mary Ludy Walter.
Pallbearers were Carl Hare, Carl Parker, Wilbur Miller, herb Turner, William Todd and Everett Smith.
burial was in Stony Creek Cemetery.
