Daughter of John Adam and Elizabeth Dunkel Weidenhammer she married Daniel Althouse and had the following children: Franklin, Nathan, Ellen, Catherine, and Sarah.

Death of Mrs. Anna Althouse: Mrs. Anna Althouse, widow of Daniel Althouse, died Saturday of general debility, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Ellen Schaeffer, 615 Walnut st., aged 88 years, 4 months and 5 days. She was in good health up to about a week ago, when she became ill. Deceased was born in Maidencreek and was a member of the Second Reformed Church. She was the last of a large family. No brothers or sisters survive. The following children remain: Mrs. Ellen Schaeffer and Nathan Althouse, of this city, and Franklin Althouse, of Spring City.
