Clara Gertrude Westman, 84, died on May 1, 1992 at her home in Lucas County, where she was born on May 4, 1907, the daughter of William O. Shore and Anna M. Nelson.
Clara attended Centennial School and was in the first class to graduate from Williamson District High School in 1926.
On December 26, 1933, she was united in marriage to Louie David Westman. They lived on a farm in Pleasant Township all their lives. She was a member of the Columbia Methodist Church.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1968, two sisters; Louise Agan and Mae Covey.
She is survived by one sister, Georgia Hubler, of Columbia, Iowa, one son, Merrian and wife Beverly of Russell, Iowa, one grandson, Randy and wife Caryn, and one great-grandson, Riley, of Westminster, Colorado. Also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
