Eleanor married Isaiah Doak on November 10, 1859. Both the bride and groom were 22 years of age, with the groom residing in Tyler County and the bride in Doddridge County at the time of their marriage. The ceremony was performed by Jacob Yeater in Doddridge County.

She died from interstitial nephritis or kidney failure.
