INTERMENT IN ELMWOOD

Old Friends to Bear Body of Prominent Business Man to Resting Place.

Funeral services for George W. Graham, Jr., 48, prominent business man, who died Sunday at his home on Providence road, will be held at 11 o'clock this morning at the residence, with Dr. Edgar G. Gammon, pastor of Myers Park Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Gaston G. Galloway, William M. Osborne, W. J. Brown, Frank M. Caldwell, Hugh Montgomery, John F. Durham, Herbert Irwin, Fred Nash and Walter Taliaferro, Jr.

Among the honorary pallbearers will be C. P. Moody, Charles E. Lambeth, W. H. Porcher, T. C. Cathey, W. Cliff Sprinkle, Fred A. Green, H. W. Moore, Thomas W. Alexander, J. H. Little, E. E. Jones, McCalister Carson, Henry Smith, Morris E. Dodd, W. W. Grier, Abner N. Green, J. E. Griffin, J. L. Jenkins, A. J. Hagood, W. A. Watson, J. A. Jones and E. H. Crenshaw of Richmond, Va.

Mr. Graham died after suffering an attack of apoplexy. He had been suffering from high blood pressure some time.

The deceased was the son of the late Dr. George W. Grahm, Sr., pioneer physician of Charlotte. He was educated at Horner Military school at Oxford and later was graduated from the University of North Carolina. At the time of his death he was secretary and treasurer of the Interstate Milling company with headquarters in Charlotte. He had been with the company since 1916.

He married Miss Nell Watkins, daughter of Mack D. Watkins of Charlotte, who survives him. Among other survivors are two sons, Donald Graham, who is a student at the University of North Carolina, and George W. Graham, III, student of Woodberry Forest school in Virginia; one brother, Eugene Graham of Charlotte, and a sister, Mrs. Percival Hall of Lincoln county.
