Bernice was born on May 3, 1928 in Dallas, Texas. She was a long time resident of San Francisco. She worked as a counselor for City college of San Francisco for 25 years. She enjoyed helping others, especially the students she worked with. She was a member of Eastern Star San Francisco Chapter 75 and a member of Lake Side Presbyterian Church in San Francisco where she served as an Elder and Deacon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
Bernice is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Jean Griffin of San Francisco, California, one brother, one sister and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
