Mettie "Pearl" Bush

— Graveside service for Mettie "Pearl" Bush, 80, Snyder, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Mountain Park Cemetery with Rev. Terry Lawson, Pastor of Sageeyah Baptist Church, Claremore officiating.
Mrs. Bush died Tuesday at her home.
Burial will be under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Snyder.
The family will greet friends Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born December 2, 1928, in Mountain Park, to Sam Henry and Mettie Ardelia (King) Barker. She attended Mountain Park Schools, and married William C. Bush on September 1, 1950, in Frederick. Pearl enjoyed quilting, painting ceramics and dancing Jitterbug with her twin brother Earl. She also thoroughly enjoyed her wild flowers and bird watching. So much that she would rather watch birds than eat.
Survivors include her husband of the home, a daughter and three sons, Sherry Brown and husband Rick of Claremore, Sammie Bush of Tennessee, Steven Bush of Mountain Park, Stan Bush and wife Jean of New Mexico, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.
