ROWE, Esther M.
(Age 84)

went home to be with her Lord and family on Thursday, February 9, 2006, while a resident of Summer Wood Alzheimer's Special Care Facility in Moses Lake, WA. She died from complications of a stroke.

Esther was born in Lind, WA, August 30, 1921, to Henry and Hattie (Labes) Biermann. She attended Lind schools graduating in 1939. Esther met and married Lloyd Wellsandt in 1940; they had two children, Truman and Tamara. Their union later ended in a divorce. Esther remarried Clinton Rowe in 1955, at that time he was Sheriff of Adams County. Esther worked at the Adams County Courthouse in the Assessor's office and later at the ASCS Department of Agriculture offices in Ritzville. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, reading and taking trips and cruises with family.

Surviving is her son Truman Wellsandt and wife Martha of Cartesville, GA; a daughter Tamara Sanders and husband Bill of Klamath Falls, OR; granddaughters Ashley and Jason Braswell of Valdosta, GA, Lynette and Jason Mackey of Gresham, OR, and Holly and Kevin Hess of Sherwood, OR; a great-granddaughter Addison Braswell of Valdosta, GA, was born February 9, shortly after Esther died; great-grandsons Quinn and Perrin Hess of Sherwood, OR; a brother Ted Biermann of Lind, WA, sister-in-law Velma Biermann of Lind, WA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brothers Bill, Richard (Pep) and Emil Biermann, and sisters Lisette Steffen and Ella Schoessler.
