Mrs. Doris "Tissie" Price Clark, 69, of 122-8th St., NW, Pulaski, died Monday, Jan. 8, 1996 at Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin. She was born Dec. 25, 1926, and was a native of McDowell County, WV. She was the daughter of the late William Cone & Rachel Godsen Price. She attended Marshall College (now Marshall University) in Huntington, WV and had retired as an insurance clerk for Pulaski Community Hospital. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Pulaski. Surviving are her husband, Gerald Vance Clark, of Pulaski; one daughter, Carol C. McNeely of Franklin; one son, David L. Clark of Pulaski; one sister, Carol Price Adkins of Bluefield, WV; two brothers, William Price of Oklahoma City and Col. James Price (Ret. US Army), Carlisle, PA; one grandson, Irwin Hollar (Trey) McNeely, of Franklin. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, at the First United Methodist Church, Pulaski, with the Rev. Norman Wilhoit officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski. The family suggests that memorials be made to the Commission on Missions, c/o First United Methodist Church, 135-4th St., NW, Pulaski, VA, 24301. Stevens Funeral Home, Inc, Pulaski, is in charge of arrangements.
