Mrs. Jeanette Martha CLAY, 71, 1117 Elm street, died at 9:30 o'clock today at Woodlawn hospital.
Mrs. Clay was born Aug. 24, 1905 in Fulton county to Alonzo and Cora BOGGESS AULT and had lived here all her life. She was first married to Virgil BECKER who preceded her in death. She then married Edger CLAY who also preceded her. She was retired from the Rochester Telephone Company and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist church of Rochester.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John (Betty) MATHIAS, Rochester; four grandchildren, Becky MATHIAS, Rochester; Mrs. Junior (Sandra) OLIVER, Rochester; Dennis [MATHIAS], Rochester; Ronnie [MATHIAS], Akron; four great-grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren. Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev. Morris HOWELL officiating. Burial will be at the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and until services on Wednesday.
