Albert Grogg
Albert GROGG, 77, Rt. 7, Rochester, died at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at his home following an illness of five years.
He was born Feb. 18, 1910 in Auburn to Oscar and Laura PEPPLE GROGG. He moved to Rochester from Auburn in 1948. On Feb. 14, 1935 in Auburn he married Mary Elizabeth KESSLER, who died Feb. 21, 1981. He was retired from McMahan-O'Connor Construction Co., as plant supervisor after 38 years service, was a member of Operators Union 103, Kokomo, and was a farmer.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clayton (Shirley Ann) STICE, Denver, Colo.; two sons, Gene R. and Dan [GROGG], both of Rochester six grandchildren, Robert PORTER and Bobby HUTCHINSON, Colorado; Chris and Brandi GROGG, Rochester, and Marci KRAWCZYK and David GROGG, Grand Rapids, Mich.; two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Harold (Sue) STUMP, and a brother, Sam GROGG, both of Auburn. A sister and three brothers preceded in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with Father Richard PUETZ officiating. Burial wil be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and on Friday from 9 a.m. until services. Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Cancer Society or the Fulton County Humane Society.
