Charles W. Vickroy
LOGAN – Charles W. Vickroy,75, of 55 Gompff Drive died at 9 p.m. Friday in Hocking Valley Community Hospital.

He was the son of the late Henry and Clara Perkins Vickroy and was born in Hocking County. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Eagles Lodge at Murray City.

Survivors include his wife, Ida Holcomb Vickroy; six sons, Gerald of Salem; Charles of Cincinnati; George of Lancaster; Robert, Leroy and John all of Bremen; seven duaghters, Mrs. Mary Reynolds, Lancaster; Mrs. Maxine Andrix, Columbus; Mrs. Dorothy McCloy, Junction City; Mrs. Bonnie Lindsey, Logan; Mrs. Clara Walker, Columbus; Mrs. Barbara Whalen, Omaha, Neb., and Mrs. Sharoll Mowery, Logan; 50 grand-children and 14 great-grand-children.

Service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Leonard Funeral Home with thr Rev. William Combs officiating. Burial will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home anytime.
