Helen Grosner Platko age 92 of Stratford, CT, the widow of Charles John Platko passed away in the arms of her daughter Linda at Lord Chamberlain Health Center, Stratford. Mrs. Platko a retired employee of Sikorsky Aircraft was born in Bentleyville, PA to the late John and Ethel (Mihalek) Grosner and has been a long time area resident. She was a member of Holy Name, Baldwin Center and Huntington Seniors. Survivors include her beloved daughters Kathleen Breeding and her husband Daniel of Virginia and Linda Nobitz and her husband Charles of West Haven, her cherished granddaughter Amy, a sister Mary Thompson of Stratford and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her sister Ethel Kuhar and brothers John, Joseph, George, Daniel, Andrew, James and Stephen Grosner. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in Holy Name of Jesus Church, Stratford.
