William Buffington of Rulo met with a terrible accident on Wednesday of last week. And jumping from a fence, he lit upon A hoe handle, which pierced his body six or seven inches. After 4 days of indescribable suffering, he expired on Saturday last. Source Falls City Globe Journal, July 21, 1875.
