GREENSBURG - Mrs. Ida
Stapleton, 76, died in the home of
a daughter, Mrs. Martha Thompson,
here late Tuesday, night.
She was born in Virginia May
2, 1882, came to Kiowa County
with her parents when she was a
baby, had lived here 75 years
She was married in 1900. Her husband,
William, died in 1953.
Survivors are a son, John,
Wichita; two daughters, Mrs.
Thompson and Mrs. Opal Nicholson,
Baltimore; eight grandchildren
and two great grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m.
Friday in Fleener Chapel with
burial in Fairview Cemetery, Rev.
Ken McCullah officiating.
