OBIT: Mrs. Pamela Druce Heffington Kelly, 51, of Sanford died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at Central Carolina Hospital.
She was born in Japan on June 15, 1957 to Robert Alan Heffington and the late Dorothy Jewell Druce Prescott Heffington. Mrs. Kelly was a homemaker who home schooled their three children. Due to her diligence in working with her children they were able to enroll in college at the age of 12. She was also one of the three original drafters of the 1996 California Civil Rights Initiative, Proposition 209 and she was a member of St. Joseph's Anglican Church.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends, following the memorial service, at the family home.
