(January 27, 1926 - April 22, 2009)

A retired Exxon employee with 45 years of service and a resident of Port Allen, he passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 83 and a native of Plaquemine. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen, on Thursday, April 23, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at Holy Family Catholic Church, Port Allen, on Friday from 8 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment in Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. He is survived by a son, Michael LeJeune and wife Jan Jenkins; two sisters, Mildred LeJeune Hernandez, and Lois LeJeune Guerin and husband Huey; sisters-in-law, Carrie LeJeune and Eunice Guerin Hughes; two grandchildren, Brandy LeJeune Buckley and Tara LeJeune; and a great-grandchild, Paige Buckley. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Doris LeJeune; parents, Delma J. Sr. and Gertrude Bello LeJeune; and brothers, Sherlin C. and Earl J. LeJeune. Special thanks to Pinnacle Home Health, Dr. Tumminello and staff, and to the Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center staff for all their care over the years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
