Margaret E. Drumm, age 79, of Valders, died early Thursday morning, June 15, 2006, at her daughter's residence in rural Valders.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church. Revs. Robert Kujawski and Stephen Melso will officiate with entombment to follow at the Knollwood Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc.

The former Margaret Wopp was born June 16, 1926, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late William and Charlotte Puchalski Wopp. In 1945 Margaret worked for the federal government in Washington, D.C., at the Pentagon and later returned home to help her family in the family bakery, Bill's Home Bakery in Valders. On Jan. 15, 1949, she was married to William E. Drumm at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. The couple farmed in the town of Manitowoc Rapids until their retirement in 1990. Bill preceded Margaret in death on Aug. 10, 2000. Margaret was a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, and Ant Hill Motorcycle Club, and the Midwest Old Thrashers. She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, going to old tractor and gas engine shows, she loved to bake for everybody and was an avid reader.

Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, one daughter and son-in-law, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, three step-great-
grandchildren,one brother and sister-in-law, two sisters, one sister-in-law, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by one brother: John Paul Wopp and three brothers-in-law: Robert Price; Richard Drumm; and Gerald Drumm.

Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc on Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.

A special thank you to the Holy Family Cancer Care Center nurses and staff, the Dr., the Manitowoc County Community Hospice and their CNAS and nursing staff for their kind care and compassion shown to Mom and our family.

I know of a sleep in Jesus' name,
A rest from all toil and sorrow;
Earth folds in her arms my weary frame
and shelters it till the morrow.
My soul is at home with God in heaven;
My sorrows are past and over.
