OBITUARY: The Manti Messenger, Friday 7 March 1913:
Mrs. Elizabeth D. Higgs, formerly of this city, died in Provo last Thursday of general debility and the body brought to Manti for burial Friday. Mrs. Higgs was a resident of this city for about 30 years, leaving here for Provo about a year ago. Her husband died about 15 years ago while engineer at the Temple. Mrs. Higgs was born in England over 88 years ago.
