Joseph A. Broeker, 44, of 10811 E County Road 250 South, died Friday, Sept. 4, 1998 at 10:08 p.m. at Woodlawn Hospital in Rochester following a traffic accident.

Joseph was born on July 13, 1954 in Plymouth to Clarence and Dorothy Broeker (Peters) Broeker.

A lifetime area resident, he was a railroad welder at Conrail Railroad and a member of the Culver Eagles Lodge.

Survivors include a daughter, Shanna J. Broeker of Knox; a son, Sean and Denise Broeker of San Pierre; a granddaughter, Lyric Broeker of San Pierre; his mother Dorothy from Culver; two sisters, Linda Porter of Kewanna and Mary Broeker of Greenbrier, AR; three brothers, Paul of Culver, John of Plymouth, and James of Culver; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation was held Monday, Sept. 7, 1998 from 2 - 8 p.m. at Bonine Funeral Home.

Services were held today, Tuesday, September 8, 1998, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Mark Hutchinson officiating.

Burial followed in the Burr Oak Cemetery in Culver.
