Abstract--age 83, of Masontown, died Jan. 2, 2000 in Akron, Ohio. She was born Feb. 2, 1916, in Preston Co., d/o the late Clyde A. and Margaret Shay Hovatter. She is surrived by four sons, James H. Barlow, Charles E. Barlow, Rex A. Barlow, and Larry J. Barlow, all of Akron, Ohio; five daughters, Mary V. DeBerry, Doris J. Voytek, and Dorothy L. Williams, all of Akron, Lucy C. Williams, of Tunnelton and Peggy Voytec Zeigler, of Morgantown; five brothers, Theodore Hovatter of Akron, Rex Hovatter, of Rowlesburg, Zane Hovatter, of Saberton and Frank Hovatter, of Florida; three sisters, Betty Holmes, of Masontown, Flossie Conner, of Albright and Billie Jo Waybright, of Canton, OH; She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Barlow in 1974; a daughter, Annabelle Barlow; two brothers, Donald and Kay Hovatter and two sisters, Dorothy Hovatter and Anna Mary Foster. Burial was in the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Howesville.
