Andrew "Andy" Alstrom, 24, of route 3, Stillwater, an employee of Charles Machine Works, Inc. of Perry, died Saturday afternoon of injuries received in a one vehicle accident on a Noble County road two miles east and five and one half miles south of Perry.

Funeral was at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church in Perry. Rev Lynn Scott, pastor, presided.

Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

A highway patrol investigation has fixed the time of the accident at near 4:00 p.m. Noble County Sheriff's Officers and firemen mad runs to the scene and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol was notified at 4:30 p.m.

The fire department dispatched a rescue unit and an ambulance. Alstrom, who was pinned in the wreckage for a short time, died at the scene of multiple injuries.

Andy Alstrom was born February 14, 1970 at Abilene, Kansas. He was a 1988 graduate of Perry High School. He worked in the equipment preparation department of The Charles Machine Works.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Jim and Lyndia Alstrom, Perry; his mother and step-father, Raymond and Patricia Pilchiek, Bluffton, Texas; a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmie and Bobbie Sue Alstrom, Perry; three sisters, Cindy Hansen, Lebanon, Illinois, Lisa Woolverton, Pensacola, Florida and Barbara Stefek, Georgetown, Texas; his fiance, Vandy Thedford, Stillwater, his fiance's daughter Autumn Thedford, Stillwater and 10 nieces and nephews, Tuff Stout, Dean Hansen, Julie Woolverton, Katie Woolverton, Libby Woolverton, Abby Hansen, Chyrstal Stefek, Jennifer Stefek and Sabrina Stefek.
